Hospice Fundraising Success
Our work for Treetops Hospice near Derby was recently completed with a grant of £300,000 from the Department of Health, bringing the total we have raised from grant making sources to £520,000.
The Treetops Ripple Appeal was a capital campaign to raise £1.4million for a new day care centre.
With an initial focus on charitable trusts, we carried out prospect research, wrote the case for support and prepared applications for the hospice to submit. Trusts have now contributed £220,000 to the results.
The hospice’s in-house Ripple Appeal Team also ran successful events and communications campaign which, together with the grant fundraising, have completed the appeal.
Our charges to the hospice amounted to just 4% of the amount we raised – a ratio of return of 25 to 1.
Ripple Appeal Manager, Kate Shaw, says: "It has been a real pleasure working with Wootton George Consulting. Their results have been fantastic. As a company, they are very professional, knowledgeable, flexible and easy to work with."
