Clubs for Young People

Clubs for Young People is a national charity established by Royal Charter in 1925, which today functions as the umbrella body to over 3,500 youth clubs and initiatives, supporting 400,000 young people across the country.

In 1999, Clubs for Young People commissioned us to review fundraising at its national office. This identified a number of opportunities, not least the chance to develop its grant income from charitable trusts and foundations.

As a result of the review, we were retained to provide advice and support to the charity, which has continued. Over the years, we have helped Clubs for Young People to raise a substantial amount of money in grants, as well as providing mentoring support to its fundraising staff and advising on how to use the charity's valuable contact network.

Simon George of Wootton George Consulting says: "Our relationship with Clubs for Young People has been long and fruitful. This has been a fascinating charity to work with too, as many of its funder relationships and its fundraising records go back to the 1950's!"

Head of Business Development at Clubs for Young People said: "Being a relatively small team, we value the advice and support Wootton George Consulting provides us with. Their ability to support our current work, alongside providing future opportunities, means that they are vital to our continued development".
